Men's Soccer Returns to Play Against the Lions

Lakeland, Fla.- The Southeastern University men's soccer team will be back in action this week for the first time in nearly three weeks as they travel to Dayton, Tennessee to take on Bryan College on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
 
The Fire are currently 13-6 on the season (5-5 TSC) and are coming off of a 3-2 overtime victory over Florida National on March 24th when Colin Horn found the back of the net in the 106th minute to give the Fire the golden goal victory.
 
As a team, the Fire have outshot their opponents with 43 goals on the season and an average of 2.26 goals per game. Julian Hall has captained the Fire offense with a team high eight goals and has also recorded four assists. In goal, Jonathan Wojicki has only dropped one game to give him an overall record of 6-1 with 24 saves and only 11 goals allowed. Carlos Curado has recorded 43 saves with 13 goals allowed to record a season record of 5-4.
 
The Lions of Bryan College currently hold a record of 4-8-1 on the season and 3-6-1 in conference play and are also coming off of a 3-2 overtime victory against Tennessee Wesleyan on March 12th. The Lions have been outscored by their opponents throughout the season after recording 18 goals through 13 games and allowing 28. Joshua Thomas leads the Lions with four goals scored and two assists.
 
This meeting will be the first meeting between these two teams.
