AUBURNDALE, Fla.—Southeastern remained unbeaten during the spring with a 3-2 double overtime win over Florida National at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex.
Colin Horn's goal in the 106
th minute gave the Fire the winning tally in the come from behind effort.
The Conquistadors picked up the first goal of the game with just 3:06 until the intermission. Southeastern answered right back out of the locker room when
Julian Hall found
Ben-Avir Espinal 54 seconds into the second half to tie the game.
Florida National regained the lead in the 66
th minute, but three minutes later
AJ Davis tied the game on a feed from Kory Nekoloff who was making his SEU debut to force overtime.
Davis nearly won it in the first overtime with a shot that hit the post in the 95
th minute.
In goal,
Carlos Curado made five saves.
