Men's Soccer Heads to Middle Georgia State

Cochran, GA- The Southeastern University men's soccer team returns to the pitch this week after a 10-6 record in the Fall as they take on Middle Georgia State University in Cochran, GA. on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
 
The last matchup between these two teams dates back all the way to the 2018 season when the Fire came out with a 2-0 victory over the Knights.
 
The Fire currently hold a record of 10-6 (5-5 TSC) with their last competition resulting in a 2-0 loss to the St. Thomas University Bobcats in the Sun Conference Tournament to end their search for a Sun Conference title.
 
As a team, the Fire have outscored their opponents 35-22 this season and average 2.19 goals per game while goalkeepers for the Fire have recorded 60 saves throughout their 16 games. Senior Julian Hall leads the scoring for the Fire with seven goals in 12 games while also recording three assists. The Middle Georgia State Knights are 0-1 on the season with their only competition thus far coming against Dalton State all the way back in September when they came away with a 2-0 loss.
