BOCA RATON, Fla. - In their first match of the season, the Fire struggled to piece things together, falling to No. 4 Keiser 7-0.
SEU was unable to win any of their matches, both doubles and singles.
Felipe Barbosa put up a close fight against Fred Oervad, losing only 6-5 in the first set but then falling short 6-3 in the second.
Next Saturday, the Fire will travel to Miami Gardens to face St. Thomas University. Last season, SEU defeated St. Thomas 7-0, so they will look to gain strides moving forward.
