RENO, Nev.—Southeastern had to overcome a 10-point deficit early in its non-conference dual with Southern Oregon to come away with a 26-13 win at the Reno Convention Center.
The Fire lost the first three matches of the day, but a pin by
Chris Kelly helped shift momentum. In the last half of the match, Southeastern won all five matches which included a technical fall by
Blake Rypel at 184, a fall at the 4:20 mark by
Gage Braun at 197, and a win in sudden victory at 285 by
Jesse Pryor.
Southeastern is now 5-0 on the year and will return to the Reno Convention Center Sunday morning for the Reno Tournament of Champions.
