Box Score NEW ORLEANS, La.- The No. 4 ranked Southeastern University women's basketball team advanced to 11-1 on the season today with their 92-51 win over the Generals of LSU-Alexandria in their second game in New Orleans.

Angela Perry grabbed the quick Fire lead 30 seconds into the period as the Fire would not succeed the lead for the remainder of the contest.
Marta Aranda recorded the next six Fire points with back-to-back three pointers as
Rebecca Cook would round out the first period with a jump shot to put the Fire up 19-5.
Jamya Rogers and
Gabby Suarez aided in advancing the Fire lead to 20 in the second period with two made jumps shots with just under five minutes before the half.
Josselin Geer would then take advantage of a Generals foul as she went 2-2 at the free throw line for her first points of the contest. The Fire would end the first half shooting 50% from the field and 83% from the free throw line.

In the third period, the Fire advanced their lead to 30 with just under five minutes left in the quarter after a Geer jump shot. Rogers finished off the third quarter with six consecutive points to bring the score to 68-35 after the end of the third.
Tahanee Bennell got the final 10 minutes started with five consecutive points in under a minute as the Fire would go on to grow their lead, finishing the contest with a 92-51 victory over the Generals.

The Fire ended the day shooting 51% from the field and 9-14 from the free throw line.

Perry was the Fire's leading scorer with 22 points and was two rebounds away from her seventh double-double of the season. Aranda ended the contest with a team high 13 assists while Cook registered nine rebounds.

The next contest for the Fire will be back at home on Tuesday at 6 p.m. as they take on the receiving votes Tabor University.
