Fire Dominate in Thomasville to Take Down Nighthawks

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Southeastern University women's basketball team is now 3-0 in Sun Conference play as they defeated the Thomas University Nighthawks 124-41.

The Fire went on a 11-0 run to start this matchup and did not look back. SEU put on a dominant offensive performance in Thomasville as they displayed how efficient they can score the basketball. 

Southeastern as a team shot 65.2% from the field, 60.7% from beyond the arc, and 94.4% from the free throw line.

Junior Haley Howarth put on a shooting clinic from beyond the arc, making 9 out of 12 three-point attempts finishing with 33 points. Graduate Student Angela Perry shot 67% from the field finishing with 28 points on the day.
