MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.—Southeastern got three pins and a technical fall to cruise to a 29-18 win over St. Thomas in its first Mid-South Conference dual of the season Wednesday night.
Coleman Bryant needed just 19 seconds to secure the first fall of the night at 174, then
Trillyon Fils-Aime added six more points with a pin after 90 seconds of action at 184.
The Bobcats got within four after a fall at 197 then a decision at 285, but a pin by
Trevor Borom at 125 gave the Fire a double-digit lead.
Xavier Williamson then followed with a 19-3 tech fall of defending conference champion Nick Foster.
Izac Martinez and
Wyatt Kirkham closed the night with decisions at 157 and 165, respectively.
Southeastern returns to the mats on Saturday at the Life U Open.
