Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- The Southeastern University men's soccer team battled through a back-and-forth affair on the road versus the Florida Memorial University Lions Saturday afternoon. Ultimately, the match ended in a 3-3 tie after 110 minutes of soccer.

On the day, the Fire out-shot the Lions 27-9, including 20-7 on frame.

th minute, when Johan Godoy successfully converted a penalty kick for his first goal of the day to tie the match at 1-1.

Southeastern found the go-ahead goal in the 43
rd minute via graduate forward Uziel Henrandez, who tallied his first goal of the season off a ball from
Ben-Avir Espinal.

However, FMU knotted the contest back up 2-2 with just 41 seconds remaining in the first half thanks to a score from Artur Barros. Southeastern and Florida Memorial entered the half even 2-2.

After a quiet start to the second half, the Lions broke the silence in the 73
rd minute when Godoy netted his second goal of the game to pull FMU on top 3-2.

The Fire were able to manufacture the equalizer in thrilling fashioned, as graduate forward
Skylar Funk netted his first goal of the season in the 88
th minute, in what was his first match back on the pitch after suffering a preseason injury.

Neither team could find the golden goal in either of the 10-minute overtime sessions. Southeastern out-shot Florida Memorial 8-2 in overtime.
