LAKELAND, Fla. - After splitting their last doubleheader competition with Calumet, the Fire return to action Friday to play University of Cumberlands at home. Then, the Fire will head on the road Saturday to play their first conference game of the season against St. Thomas University.

The Fire:
Southeastern has played a total of 17 games thus far in the season, and is hitting an average of .295 compared to their opponents who are batting .271.
Up until now, the Fire have registered 134 hits, with 81 runs, 18 doubles, four triples, and six home runs.
Senior third-baseman
Bailee Moll leads the team in home runs, as she is responsible for three of the six home runs.
Following Moll in home runs is Sam Holcob with two and
Hannah Bonner with one. Senior first baseman, Bonner leads the Fire with 19 hits and a batting average of .358.
SEU has recorded 74 RBI's so far.
Lauren Watters leads the team with 13 RBI's, averaging .81 per game.
The Patriots:
Cumberlands has earned seven wins on the season, defeating RV Rio Grande on two separate occasions.
All five losses on the season come from teams that are either RV or ranked in the Top 25 of the NAIA, which include No. 5 Georgia Gwinnett and No. 25 Warner.
Maddie Sickau leads the team with 12 RBIs, averaging one per game. Sickau ranks third in the NAIA for assists per game (3.67) and ninth for total assists (44). The sophomore shortstop, Sickau is second on the team with a .390 batting average.
Overall the team is hitting .320, compared to their opponents who are batting .266.
Five Patriots are hitting over a .300 average. Leading the team is Madison Huber with 17 hits and a .436 batting average. Huber has also tallied three doubles and home runs, and nine RBIs.

The Bobcats:
This game marks the first Sun Conference game of the season for both the Bobcats and the Fire.
St. Thomas is coming off a sweep against Robert Morris (Ill.) at home this past Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats defeated the Eagles 3-2 in game one and 8-0 in game two of the doubleheader.
Offensively for St. Thomas, sophomore shortstop Tyenna Colon leads STU with 14 hits and eight RBIs. Colon is hitting .378 this season.
The Bobcats are ranked 13th in the NAIA with 37 total stolen bases. Junior infielder, Eliza Artiles leads the teams with eight. Artiles ranked 38th in the nation for stolen bases per game (.667) and 40th for stolen bases (8).
Redshirt senior Erica Winter is the leading pitcher for the Bobcats. Winter has tallied 18 total strikeouts so far, averaging 3.35 per game. Nova Southeastern-transfer, Winter has only allowed an average of 2.79 earned runs per game.
