LAKELAND, FLa.- For the fifth-consecutive season, The Sun Conference Women's Soccer Tournament Final will feature the same two programs. The top-seeded Southeastern University Fire will host the second-seeded Keiser University Seahawks Friday night with the conference championship in the balance.

HEATING UP THE POSTSEASON:
- The Fire are making their fifth-straight appearance in the TSC Final, after defeating the fourth-seeded USCB Sand Sharks 1-0 in their semifinal match at the SEU Soccer Complex on Tuesday evening.
-Senior forward
Aisha Solorzano netted her third career TSC postseason goal in the 73rd minute off a beautiful assist by
Naira Lopez to put SEU ahead of USCB, which proved to be the game-winning goal.
-Southeastern is 8-5-2 in nine all-time appearances in The Sun Conference Tournament. The Fire were the 2017 Tournament Champions, 2018 Regular Season Co-Champions, and the 2020 Regular Season Champions.
-SEU is 7-0-1 in its last eight TSC postseason matches at home. The Fire have not outright lost a Sun Conference postseason match at home since 11/6/14 versus Webber International (1-0).
FIRE FOCUS:
-Southeastern ranks fourth in the NAIA in shutouts (8), 10th in shots per game (24.17), and 12th in goals per game (3.75).
-
Naira Lopez leads the NAIA in assists at 12. Lopez has also netted eight goals on the year which ranks second on the team.
-Freshman forward
Anne-Clara Couturier has scored all eight of her goals this season versus TSC opponents.
-Defensively, SEU has posted three-consecutive shutouts and have not conceded a score over its last 283:40 of play.
-First Team All-TSC goalkeeper
Holly Eddins has posted a .878 save percentage and six full-90 shutouts on the season.
FIRE AND SEAHAWKS ALL-TIME:
-This is the fifth consecutive season the Fire and the Seahawks have met in The Sun Conference Tournament Final. The teams are even 1-1-2 in those meetings, however, Keiser advanced past Southeastern in penalty kicks in 2016 and 2018.
-The Seahawks lead the overall series versus the Fire 12-2-3.
-SEU defeated KU for the first time in Lakeland earlier this season 2-1 in overtime, when junior midfielder
Jennifer Luna scored the game-winner in the 96th minute.
THE SEAHAWKS:
-Keiser is making its ninth-straight trip to the TSC Final in their 16th consecutive appearance in the conference tournament. The Seahawks have won the TSC Tournament seven times in program history, including four of the last five seasons.
-The Seahawks advanced to the championship game with a 5-0 victory over third-seeded Ave Maria in West Palm Beach on Tuesday afternoon.
-Five different players scored the five goals for KU in the semifinal match versus AMU. Junior midfielder Linnea Axengren picked up two assists in the victory.
-Keiser ranks fourth in the NAIA in assists per game (4.42), fourth in shots per game (28.17), sixth in shots on goal per game (14), and sixth in goals per game (4.83).
-KU features The 2020 Sun Conference Player of the Year in sophomore defender Maja Henriksson. The Gothenburg, Sweden native has recorded seven goals and seven assists on the season.
-Southeastern is the only team to net multiple goals against Keiser this season.
