LAKELAND, Fla.—After clinching a spot in the Sun Conference tournament, the Southeastern University men's soccer team prepares to host the Ave Maria Gyrenes at 7:00 pm on Saturday in the Sun Conference Quarterfinals.
Last time out, the Fire claimed a 4-3 victory over Florida College in double overtime on senior day.

Evandro Henrique,
Grayson Wilkes, and
Aitor Granero all notched a goal in the win. Goalkeeper
Jonathan Wojciki recorded a save in 110:00 of play.
Heading into the conference tournament the Fire rank 16
th in the NAIA in both goals (32) and assists (22). Goalkeeper
Carlos Curado is ranked 31
st in saves with 36 and is allowing just 1.3 goals per game, good for 42
nd in the NAIA.
The Gyrenes travel to Lakeland carrying a 3-8-1 record and finished the regular season with a 2-7-1 record in conference play. Ave Maria is coming off back-to-back losses to Keiser in which they fell 4-2 and 4-0 to the Seahawks. Bright spots for the Gryenes are senior Raphael Rodriquez and sophomore goalkeeper Carlos Contreras. Rodriguez is 15
th in the NAIA with five assists and Contreras sits at 20
th with 42 saves.
Southeastern has taken both matches against Ave Maria this season with a 2-0 win on October 3
rd and a 2-1 win on October 31
st. Hall sparked the Fire offense in the first meeting, recording a goal and an assist. Wojciki got the start in both games in goal for Southeastern, tallying eight saves and allowing only one goal in 180:00 of action. He was named TSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after both of his performances.
