On Saturday, the Fire will return to the Furnace to play Brewton-Parker, who are off to a 1-9 start to the season heading into Wednesday's game versus Agnes Scott. The Barons have a heavy upcoming schedule, as they play three games before arriving in Lakeland to play the Fire on the 21st.
Brewton-Parker has played SEU two times previously, in the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons. In both meetings, the Fire defeated the Barons in three sets. The two games were played at neutral sites, therefore this will be the first time SEU has home advantage.
