LAKELAND, Fla. – After a disappointing week versus TSC opponents Webber International and Warner, the Fire will face off against two more conference teams this week. Southeastern heads on the road to take on No. 18 USC Beaufort and then will return home to play Ave Maria.
The Fire:
- Southeastern is ranked first in the NAIA for total putouts (863) and total innings pitched (287.200).
- Senior pitcher, Hannah Bodenhorn leads the Sun Conference and the Fire in total number of strike outs (128), with an average of 8.25.
- SEU ranks third in the country for total batters struck out (268).
- Bailee Moll leads the Fire with a batting average of 0.340 and total number of RBIs (30). The junior from Illinois, ranks fourth in the NAIA for total at bats (141) and ranks sixth for total doubles (16).
- Senior, Heather Faulk leads the team in stolen bases with a total of 14.
- There are three individuals on Southeastern with a batting average over .300 on the season, including Moll (.340), Haleigh Harrell (.303), and Hannah Bonner (.301). Moll is the only Fire player with a batting average over .300 in conference play.
