LAKELAND, Fla. – The Fire are set to finish their regular season slate this week with two more conference games taking place. The Fire host Thomas University on Wednesday at 5 p.m. and will then travel to Miami Gardens, Fla. on Saturday to take on Florida Memorial at 3 p.m.

FIRE FOCUS:
- Southeastern got back to their winning ways last week, beating No. 23 Georgia Gwinnett 2-1 and Ave Maria 4-0.
- Individually, Jake Van Der Luit remains a key cog in the machine for the Fire as he tallied an assist and a goal facing Georgia Gwinnett and added two more goals against Ave Maria. He is the conference leader in goals (17), shots (72), and shots on goal (40).
ALL-TIME:
- The Fire split the two matches against Thomas a year ago, dropping the regular season contest before defeating the Night Hawks in the conference tournament. In that game, the Fire won 1-0 thanks to a goal from junior Noah Richmond.
- Southeastern has gone 4-0 against Florida Memorial since 2015, winning by a combined score of 12-4. The Fire won 5-1 in last year's meeting with Craig Barker, Jake Van Der Luit, and Grayson Wilkes all scoring.
THE NIGHT HAWKS:
- Thomas enters play on Wednesday with an overall record of 7-8, going 4-3 in conference play.
- Against ranked or RV teams this season the Night Hawks have gone 1-4, with their lone win coming against RV Keiser 1-0.
- Senior Gavin Rochford-Smith is the player to watch for Thomas. He leads the team in goals (12), assists (7), shots (54), and shots on goal (30).
THE LIONS:
- Florida Memorial (2-12, 1-6 TSC) is currently on an eight-game losing streak with their only wins coming against Ave Maria.
- Seniors Caleb Acosta and Jose Romero are the players to watch for the Lions. Acosta leads the team in shots and shots on goal with 44 and 29, while Romero is the team leader in goals with seven.
