Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Southeastern University men's soccer team stood tall defensively and received offensive contributions all across the lineup, as the Fire defeated the St. Andrew's University Knights 4-0 in their first match of the SCAD Invitational.
This marks the second consecutive 4-0 win for SEU over SAU in Savannah, as the Fire earned the same result last season versus the Knights. This also marked the first 2-0 start for SEU since 2014.
SEU used 24 different players in the victory.

The Fire struck early as senior forward
Bruno Henrique found the back of the net for the first time in a Southeastern uniform. The Sao Paulo, Brazil native finished a pass from senior forward
Jake Van Der Luit in the 8
th minute to put SEU ahead 1-0.

The Fire asserted themselves out to a commanding 3-0 lead at the half thanks to pass from senior midfielder
Jonathan Jimenez that was finished by senior forward
Grayson Wilkes in the 42
nd minute.
Southeastern outshot St. Andrew's 7-2 in the first half. SEU surrendered the lone SAU shot on frame of the contest in the 19
th minute.
Jimenez cemented the Fire victory in the 75
th minute, scoring on an individual effort that put SEU ahead 4-0.
"Everyone executed their roles and it was a great team effort…This was a great display of our depth and we look forward to many more games to be played the same way," added Roberts.
The Fire take on Tennessee Wesleyan in their second game of the SCAD Invitational tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.
