LAKELAND, Fla. - Four days from their prior Sun Conference doubleheader, the Fire will welcome Keiser University for an afternoon twinbill. Southeastern currently sits tied for third in the Sun Conference standings, while Keiser is still on the outside of the tournament chase.

The First Pitch
- The Fire have split half of their Sun Conference double headers this season.
- When leading after the first inning the Fire are 13-0 this season.
- As the game progresses if the Fire are able to get to the sixth inning while holding a lead, Southeastern is 14-1.
- Brandee Pietrzak and Haleigh Harrell have been the true catalysts as of late for Southeastern.
- Pietrzak currently holds an 11-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in 16 straight games.
- The freshman, Harrell, not only leads her team, but leads the Sun Conference with a .442 batting average.
- Harrel also leads the team in runs created with 44.57 and is hitting .471 with runners in scoring position.
- The Fire are also home to the Sun Conference's strikeout leader. Hannah Bodenhorn has claimed 127 strikeout victims in 93 innings of work. Over the course of the season Bodenhorn has been able to work out of jams holding opposing hitters to a sub-.200 batting average with runners in scoring position.
- The Seahawks have dropped their past three contest which includes a sweep against #12 Thomas University.
- Despite their recent slide, Keiser ranks first in the Sun Conference in team batting average (.342).
- Kelsey Brodbeck leads the offensive surge for the Seahawks. The St. Louis, Missouri native is hitting .408 and has swiped a team leading 22 bases.
- Janelle Dominguez provides the element of power to the Seahawks lineup. Thus far, Dominguez has driven in 19 runs while knocking four home runs. Dominguez's efforts also contribute to the teams doubles national ranking. The Seahawks rank 17th in all of the NAIA in doubles per game (2.045).
- On the other side of the ball, Paige Boyle has made her mark inside the circle. Boyle holds a 4-1 record this season, all while holding opposing hitters to a .227 average.
- The Seahawks have scored over half of their runs this season during innings 2-4.
