Box Score KINGSPORT, Tenn.—It was a successful Thanksgiving trip to the NAIA Division II Showcase for the Southeastern women's basketball team, going 2-0 and concluding with an 88-41 win over Washington Adventist.
 
Once again, the Fire found another gear in the second half to come away with their fifth win in as many contests. Leading 36-26 at the break, the Fire outscored the Shock (4-2) 24-9 in the third and 28-6 in the fourth.
 
During the third, WAU committed 10 of its 29 turnovers on the evening. SEU had just eight in the game. The fourth quarter saw the Shock shoot just 2-for-12 from the field.
 
Makenzie Cann scored a game-high 18 points and had six rebounds and three assists. For the tournament, she averaged 20.5 points per game.
 
Jaycee Coe added 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists. 
Emma Karamovic, 
Halee Printz, and 
Elsa Paulsson-Glantz all had 10 points.
 
Marlena Schmidt had 11 rebounds and a block to go along with seven points.
 
The Fire will host Johnson & Wales on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
