COLUMBIA, Ky.—Southeastern went 0-2 in its first two dual matches of the 2018-19 season, dropping a heartbreaker to No.10 Williams Baptist 22-18 and losing to Marian, 24-20.
Jaaziel Santana,
Ethan Owen, and
Jake Watters all finished the day 2-0. Both of Owen's wins resulted in bonus points, scoring a major decision against Jesus Mancera of Marian and a technical fall of Trey Smith of Williams Baptist.
The Fire led the Williams Baptist dual 18-12 until losing the final two matches in sudden victory.
Dylan Chatterton won his lone match of the day, a major decision over 11
th-ranked Kyle Lee.
The Fire will wrestle in their first home dual on Friday against Campbellsville.
