LAKELAND, Fla.—After coming off of a 3-1 showing at the Desert Duals before the holiday break, Southeastern will face a pair of NCAA Division III opponents in a dual at Huntingdon College on Saturday.
The Fire currently have nine wrestlers ranked in the Top 20 in their respective weight classes, led by Olson Delisca, who is sixth at 133.
Delisca will look to bounce back after suffering his sole loss of the season to the third-ranked wrestler in the country. The reigning Mid-South Conference Wrestler of the Week, Delisca, still improved to 7-1 on the year and picked up conference recognition for his 2-1 performance against three wrestlers in the top six of his weight class.
Dylan Chatterton ranks ninth in the 149-pound weight class and continued to impress with an undefeated record in the Desert Duals. The sophomore transfer from Shorter University earned his way to a 3-0 showing in Las Vegas with two decisions and a technical fall versus No. 10 Embry-Riddle (Ariz.).

th and Jason Davis 18
th. Williams went 2-2 in the most recent duals, landing him at 9-3 on the year, while Davis has been on a tear as of late. The freshman from Jacksonville picked up two decisions in his 3-1 performance in the desert. Davis moved to 7-3 on the season behind the three victories.
Huntingdon College comes into their matches with Southeastern and Greensboro with a 2-6 record. The Hawks, who are on a five-bout losing skid, were defeated by the University of the Ozarks 29-15 and the University of Dubuque (Iowa) 24-19 in their most recent dual.
Despite the lack of team success, DeAndre Beck and Quintez Pearson both posted unbeaten records in the bouts.
Beck, who wrestles at 141 for the fourth-year program, went 2-0 with wins by decision over Mario Vasquez of the University of the Ozarks and major decision against Isiaha Williams of the University of Dubuque.
Pearson should provide competition for Chatterton at the 149-pound class. Neither wrestler lost in their most recent duals, with Pearson going 2-0 in the NWA Duals behind two decisions.
At 184, the Hawks are led by Austin Threatt. The sophomore pinned his opponent in his only match of the duals, a bout against Walter-Joe Ngegwe of the University of the Ozarks, and will likely face either Davis or Williams.
After battling with Huntingdon, Southeastern will wrestle Greensboro College, who has struggled this season. The Pride are 1-10 on the year, picking up their first victory with a 31-18 win versus Keystone College in their most recent match.
Although Greensboro went 1-3 on the day, Zachary Rainess pinned three of his opponents to lead the Pride in the Washington & Lee Duals. With his team trailing 12-0 against Keystone, the sophomore earned a vital pin in the 141-pound weight class to incite a comeback victory over the Giants.
Huntingdon is scheduled to wrestle Greensboro beginning at 9 a.m. with the other bouts following the conclusion of the first match. Live video can be watched through the link below.
