LAKELAND, Fla. - After collecting a pair of wins in Iowa, one of which a come from behind thriller, the Fire launch into Sun Conference action this week. Returning only one starter was an area of uncertainty for the Fire, but this team has shown that their new additions fit perfectly into the mold formed by last year's team.

THE OPENING TIP
- The Fire currently stand unblemished in the 2017-18. Under the ruling of Tim Hays the Fire have only dropped one game dating back to last year which came at the hands of Marian, the NAIA Division II National Champions.
- Ana Richter propelled the Fire to a 80-75 win over #17 with her career night. The junior native of Oxford, Ohio recorded a career high 30 points.
- Richter, the transfer from Miami of Ohio, registered 54 points during the Iowa road trip.
- Maja Michalska is an instrumental piece off of the Fire's Bench. Michalska has the ability to distribute the basketball logging 18 assists. The native of Poland can generate steals collecting, a team leading, 10 thus far.
- Southeastern has proved to be a 3rd quarter team this season outscoring opponents 106-67.
- As a collective group, the Fire are dominant shooters ranking second in all of NAIA Division II basketball in field goal percentage (.521).
- The Fire are home to the Sun Conference leader in blocks. Marlena Schmidt is a force to be reckoned with down low, denying eight shots at the rim.
- The Warriors are in the midst of a two game slide.
- A pair of upperclassmen spearhead the offensive threat for the Warriors. RayGene Garner and Ashley Perry average double-digit points for Webber International.
- During their recent overtime loss to the University of the Cumberlands, Perry recorded a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
- The Warriors rank fifth in all of NAIA Division II basketball in 3-Pt Fg percentage (.404).
- Defense is an area in which the Warner Royals shine. To date, the Royals recorded 61 steals ranking them 18th in all of NAIA Division II basketball.
- Daijah Turner contributes on both sides of the ball collecting 16 steals while averaging 15 points per game.
- I'munique Green leads the Royals in scoring averaging 20 points per game.
- Green recorded a season high 29 points against Trinity College back on October 31st of this year.
