Josiel Colon drove a pitch to left field to score
Luis Diaz, who scored on a dropped fly ball to right to tie the game at three, denying closer Trey Norris his 11
th save of the year.
Southeastern scored in the top of the 10
th for a 4-3 win to extend its win streak to 13 games.
The Royals had a chance in the bottom of the ninth with bases loaded and two outs, but Dillon Jameson came in and secured the strikeout, earning his second win of the season.
In top of the tenth,
Chris Mattison hit a bases loaded single to left field, scoring
Hunter Bonner, which proved to be the winning run.
Mattison then moved over from first base to the pitcher's mound to secure his second save of the season, allowing one hit. With runners on first and second with two outs, reigning conference player of the week Randy Rodriguez hit a line drive into the glove of diving shortstop Diaz for the final out.
Warner (24-18) scored first on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third. The Fire answered back with a bases-loaded walk to Mattison in the top of the fourth to tie the game.
The Royals added runs in the seventh on a fielder's choice and in the eighth on a sacrifice fly to build a two-run lead.
In his varsity debut, Joseph Scibelli worked four innings, allowing one run on three hits with three strikeouts, a walk, and three hit batsmen.
Ryder Albright totaled a pair of shutout innings in relief.
Southeastern (30-14) will return to Sun Conference play this weekend against fifth-ranked South Carolina Beaufort. The three-game series starts Friday at 6 p.m.
