A Maldonado double to left scored Girardin then RBI singles by Martin and Brandee Pietrzak scored the final runs of the inning for a 7-2 lead.

The Fire matched their efforts in the top of the sixth on three hits, five runs and an Edward Waters error.

Three runs had already crossed on an error, a walk and a sacrifice fly when Martin sealed the deal with a two out, two run bomb for the final runs.
