Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.—In the first of two meetings between rivals #9 Warner and (RV) Southeastern, a hot shooting night for the Royals helped Warner blow out the Fire by a score of 109-79.

Warner started the game off strong and never looked back. In the first half alone, the Royals hit seven 3-pointers and had 11 free throw attempts, and converted every single one of them. At the half, four Warner players had more points than the top scorer for Southeastern, leading to a 20-point advantage for the home team (54-34).

In the second half, the Warner shooters were even more impressive. The Royals shot an astounding 61.5% (16-26) from behind the arc, while Southeastern was only able to knock down three of their 3-point tries in the contest. Nick Macon, who had 19 points to go along with a game-high eight assists, led Warner's shooting barrage by hitting all five of his attempts from long distance. The leading scorer for the Royals was none other than Warren Hall, who led all NAIA Division II players with 38.5 points per game coming into the matchup with the Fire. He dropped 22 points, had four assists, and grabbed eight rebounds, second only to teammate Andrew Lamb's 10 boards.

Freshman Jase Miguez was the main source of offense for the Fire in the second half, as he recorded 15 of his team-high 20 points in the latter portion of the game. Deshaun Wilcox and Carlon Holder also registered double digit efforts, both tallying 10 points. Holder added five assists and four rebounds.

The Fire will be back in action when they take the court against Keiser University in West Palm Beach on Saturday at 4pm.
