Box Score 2 MONTGOMERY, Ala.—After suffering a straight sets loss to the University of Mobile, and trailing Freed-Hardeman 2-0, it looked like it was going to be a rough afternoon at the Faulkner Invitational.
The Fire rallied to claim the third set 25-17, then came back from an 11-2 deficit to take the fourth 26-24. SEU came away with a 15-11 win in the final set for a 3-2 victory to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Victoria Trueheart each had 13 kills in the winning effort.
Alyssa Prescott finished with a team-high 26 assists, and had 16 digs.
Against Mobile, the Fire kept the first set close, trailing 11-10 after a service error by the Rams, but UM countered with five straight points. SEU battled back with a 6-1 run to come within a point at 17-16, but seven straight rallies went the way of the Rams on their way to a 25-19 win.
The Fire led the second set 9-4, but an 8-2 run saw things turn the way of the Rams in a 25-17 win.
The third set was tied at 10 when the Rams mounted another run, this one, a 10-2 swing to open up a 20-12 advantage, and closed the match with a 25-14 win.
The Fire return to action in Montgomery tomorrow morning against Brenau and Faulkner.
