Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. – Two goals separated by six minutes and 13 seconds were what put the Fire in the driver's seat after being in the deficit for the first 62 minutes in tonight's 4-3 win over the Trinity Baptist Eagles.
Trailing 3-1 in the 61
st minute,
Pedro Ivo Dias netted his second PK of the game to cut the deficit in half.

Jake Van Der Luit claimed the equalizer in the 63
rd minute on a hard cross by
Gerritson Craane.
It was
Victor Reyes for the game-winner just over six minutes later. The Sarasota native finished a shot from Van Der Luit that ricocheted off the hands of the keeper to put the Fire on top.
"This was a fantastic win for us, but we continue to show our youthfulness in the beginning of games," said Coach
Clay Roberts. "We need to keep working on our maturity because we'll face a bigger deficit if we start slow against a conference team."
Southeastern's halftime huddle was to the tune of a 2-0 deficit as the Eagles put one on the board in the 15
th minute and again in the 35
th.
The Eagles put their final goal on the board between Ivo Dias' successful PK's.
A physical game was played tonight as each team racked up 26 fouls, three of which resulted in yellow cards.
The Fire outshot the Eagles 24 to 13 and had 10 chances from the corner to the Eagles' zero.
The Fire will begin Sun Conference play on Wednesday, September 30
th against Keiser University. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Southeastern Soccer Complex.
