Box Score WEST POINT, GA.-- Two days into the season, and the Fire men's basketball team has gotten off to a 2-0 start after dismantling the Pensacola Christian College Eagles, 102-85.

It was a much closer game at the half, as the Fire went to the locker room clinging to a 48-46 lead.
Matt Crowe scored all 12 of his points in the half, all connecting from beyond the 3-point line. For the second straight game, the Fire had a field goal percentage over 50%, shooting at 52%.

SEU's lead ballooned up to nine points early in the second half after a pair of
Isaac Barsh free throws. The Fire continued to go on a 9-0 run at the 13:55 mark. The Eagles (0-2) made a six-point game with 6:13 left in the game. After that, the Fire starting pulling away by going on a 14-4 run.

Caleb Konieczny was the leading scorer for the Fire after scoring 22 points on 8-10 FG shooting. Barsh earned his second double-double in as many games, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.

Elijah Ray scored 13 points and brought down eight rebounds.
Larry Taylor scored 13 points, recorded six rebounds and nine assists.
Jake Hodges finished with 12 points, three rebounds, and seven assists.

The Fire are back in action Wednesday night for their first home game at the Furnace. They'll be hosting Trinity College, tip off is set for 7 p.m.
