Bre Eldridge scored her seventh goal of the season.
"They were a great team, especially in moving the ball in the final third. We started to get in a rhythm and we played well in the second half in order to put one in the back of the net," said coach
Renee Lopez. "It was a great learning experience to play against the top team in our conference."
The Fire are back in action Saturday afternoon as they'll travel down to Thomasville, Georgia to take on Thomas University in another crucial Sun Conference matchup. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
