Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. – In their first game on campus this season, the Fire fell to Webber International, 6-0.
"Possession-wise, we moved the ball well, but unfortunately we got out-muscled," remarked Coach Bronson Gambale of the Fire's performance.
Webber started early netting their first goal in the 11th minute of play. They continued to pressure the Fire, finishing in the 35th, 43rd, 47th, 67th, and 74th minutes.
"Unfortunately, when we made a mistake they were stronger and more physical and they capitalized on their chances. We have an opportunity Saturday to be a little bit tougher, and I think that's all we need," said Gambale.
The Fire take the pitch next on Saturday at 11 a.m. against Warner University.
