Volleyball Splits Trip to West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Fire made their way through West Palm Beach today leaving one win and one loss in their wake.

To start the day, they defeated Northwood 3-0, but later fell to Palm Beach Atlantic, 3-0.

After snagging the first set from Northwood, 25-23, the Fire continued with 25-22 and 25-16 wins. Carol Reis led the Fire with at total of 15 kills, seven digs, and a .333 attacking percentage. Alyssa Prescott and Lindsey Fleming each recorded 18 assists to add to the Fire's third Sun Conference victory this season.

The Fire fell hard in three straight sets to Palm Beach Atlantic (25-10, 25-9, 25-16). Madeline Hanshaw had the team high seven kills for the Fire, followed by Lydia Rooth who had six kills and eight digs.

The Fire hit the road on Tuesday to take on Webber International at 7 p.m.
