Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. – Four Fire seniors were honored at the Furnace this afternoon after a 3-0 sweep of Northwood University; the Fire's second victory over the Seahawks this season.
In three sets ending 25-13, 25-15 and 25-20, each senior recorded game leading performances. Carol Reis and Madeline Hanshaw both hit for a game high 11 kills. Leading in assists was Lindsay Fleming with 35, while Katie Trenski registered a game high 12 digs.
The Fire finish the season at 17-12 overall and 8-6 in conference play and will take the court again on Tuesday in the first round of the Sun Conference playoffs.
