Box Score MIAMI, Fla.- In its fourth straight overtime game, the Southeastern University Fire men's soccer team edged out the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats by a score of 2-1.
Camillo Mejia put the ball in the back of the net in the overtime to score the golden goal. Pedro Ivo Dias scored the first goal for the Fire in the 25th minute.
Southeastern improves to 7-3 and 2-2-1 in the Sun Conference. Johnson & Wales falls to 5-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
Pedro Codo accounted for all three shots on goal for JWU, while scoring a goal in the 58th minute.
SEU continues their string of Sun Conference play Tuesday, as they'll host Embry-Riddle University at 7 p.m. on the campus of Southeastern.
