Box Score MIAMI, Fla.– The Fire came away with a 1-1 tie in double overtime against the Johnson & Wales Wildcats. Both goals came in the first half; Bre Eldridge accounted for all three SEU (9-6-1, 4-4-1 TSC) shots on goal.
SEU also clinched second place in their division, putting them in a position to potentially host a first round game in the conference tournament.
JWU (3-8-4, 2-4-3 TSC) struck quickly in the first half. Olivia Blake put one in the back of the net in the sixth minute of the game. Eldridge kicked in the equalizer in the 38th minute.
Southeastern plays their last game of the regular season Wednesday. They'll travel up to Macon, Ga. to take on the Weslyan College Wolves at 4:30pm.
