Coach Lambert joined the Southeastern Track and Field programs in the innagural 2019 season.

Lambert also has an extensive background in youth and college ministry, having served on staff at numerous churches as an ordained minister.
Lambert's faith and love for athletics has opened up opportunities to see them intersect. He served as an Olympic chaplain for the United states in both 1984 and 2000.
As an athlete, Lambert was a high school All-American for Cross Country and Track and Field in 1975-76 at Leigh High School in San Jose, California and was also a member of the USA International Cross Country Second Team.
Lambert was also a provisional qualifier in the Decathlon for the US Olympic trials in 1984.
Coach Lambert holds a Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education from Long Beach State University, as well as Religious Studies and Christian Education degrees from San Jose Bible College and Multnomah School of the Bible.
