Brittney Kellar was hired as Associate Athletics Director in July 2023.
She came to SEU from Ottawa University in Surprise, Ariz. where she helped start the athletic program at the school in 2017. She has served as the Senior Woman Leader and served the university as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
Kellar was the Golden State Athletic Conference Administrator of the Year in 2021 and 2023. She was honored with the NAIA's Charles Morris Administrator of the Year Award in 2022-23.
Kellar's responsibilities with the Fire include working with the coaches on budget planning and implementation, ticketing operations, the department's NIL efforts, and management of the LOI process. She has experience in her career with budgets, as well as partnering with admissions, financial aid, and the registrar's office on issues pertaining to student-athletes. She also has experience in leadership and oversight of the operations and event staffs along with facilities, game operations, and outside events.
Kellar is a member of the NAIA's National Administrative Council, Council for Student-Athletes, Cheer and Dance steering committee, and the task force on the opening round experience. She also serves as the chair of the RISE committee, chair of the Champions of Character committee, and vice president for the Senior Woman Leader Association in the NAIA, a group that she was instrumental in developing.
Prior to OUAZ, Kellar was the assistant athletics director at MidAmerica Nazarene University and served as the head cheer coach.
She and her husband, Skelly, have two children, Bohde and Xander.
