Gabriel Olivas came to Southeastern in the Fall of 2020 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Trainer in July of 2021. 

Olivas primarily worked with men's basketball and cross country during his first season with the Fire. 

Prior to SEU, Olivas worked with football, men's basketball, track, and cross country at Texas State as he completed his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and his board certification. 

Additionally, he administered pre-participation screenings at Seguin High School, and spent time with Varsity Spirit during cheerleading camps.
