Caleb Roberts took over the Fire women's soccer team before the 2021 season and led the team to The Sun Conference Tournament title in his first season.
Coach Roberts notched his third consecutive winning season with a 11-5-3 overall record, going 10-2-2 in Sun Conference play. On the road, the Fire went 5-3, 0-2 in neutral site games, and did not drop any games at home going 6-0-3. The season saw Southeastern with home site advantage in the NAIA Opening Round, unfortunately falling in penalty kicks 3-3 (5-4) to Bethel University. The biggest wins of the season came in the form of a 2-0 win over #5 Keiser and a 3-1 win over #17 St. Thomas. Four student-athletes earned CSC Academic All-District, and 11 earned Daktronics Student-Athlete and All-Sun Academic. Madelyn Davidson and Karissa King were awarded First-Team All-Sun Conference, and Katie Carnes, Ramsey Watkins, and Makayla Peddycoart were awarded Second-Team All-Sun Conference.
Southeastern posted a 15-4 record in 2021 and made an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament. Five players were named All-Sun Conference and Aisha Solorzano and Shara Randez were selected as Honorable Mention All-Americans.
In 2022, the Fire posted a 14-4-2 overall record and 6-1-1 SUN record and hosted an NAIA National Tournament Opening Round where they defeated Georgia Gwinnett 4-0 before concluding the season with a 1-0 loss to Westmont College. The Fire also concluded the season as the SUN Tournament Runner-Up after a 1-0 loss to Keiser University in the championship contest.
Roberts spent eight seasons as an assistant coach with the Fire men, helping the team to three national tournament appearances. He was the girls' soccer coach at Plant City High School for four years, then took over the boys' program leading the Raiders to their first state championship in 2018. Roberts was the Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year and the United Soccer Coaches Coach of the Year.
He played collegiate soccer at Palm Beach Atlantic University, starting 46 games and was an NCCAA National Championship finalist in 2007.
