Austin Kistner joined th Fire in August of 2020 as a graduate assistant and was promoted to the director of strength and conditioning in January of 2021.
During his time at SEU, Kistner has designed nutrition plans for athletes as well as workout plans.
Prior to Southeastern, Kistner was a coaching assistant at Delaware State University, working with golf and basketball. He was also the director of sports performance at Central High School Helena in Arkansas and was a student assistant strength coach at his alma mater of Davidson.
Kistner was a Pioneer League All-Academic honoree at Davidson as a member of the football team and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Pre-Med. Kistner also presented on football strength and conditioning during the Orlando Glazier Clinic.
