OLD HICKORY, Tenn. -- Southeastern women's golf delivered a solid showing against one of the deepest fields of the season at the Music City Classic, finishing tied for eighth at 50-over-par (914) after three rounds at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The 21-team field featured 12 NAIA Top-25 programs, providing a significant test as the Fire prepare for postseason play.

SEU opened the tournament with a 310 (+22) in round one before improving to a 305 (+17) in round two. The Fire closed with their best round of the event, a 299 (+11), to move into a tie for eighth alongside No. 13 Pikeville. Southeastern finished just six strokes shy of sixth place in a tightly contested middle of the leaderboard.

No. 3 Marian captured the team title at 5-over (869), followed by No. 1 Keiser at 16-over (880) and No. 6 SCAD Atlanta at 34-over (898). Indiana Wesleyan and Cumberlands rounded out the top five, underscoring the strength of the competition throughout the event.

As a team, Southeastern found success in several key scoring areas. The Fire ranked third in par-3 scoring at 3.17 (+10) and tied for third in par-5 scoring at 5.22 (+13), while finishing fourth overall with 169 total pars—an indication of consistent play across all three rounds.

Individually, Sadaly Campbell led Southeastern with a sixth-place finish at 219 (+3). Campbell tied for first in the field in par-5 scoring at 4.67 (-4), capitalizing on scoring opportunities throughout the tournament. Southeastern's consistency—highlighted by its top-four finish in total pars—and a strong closing round provided a positive takeaway against a nationally-ranked field. The Fire will look to build on that momentum as they head into The Sun Conference Championship, scheduled for April 19–21 in West Palm Beach, Florida, at The Fountains Golf Club.
