LAKELAND, Fla. -- Southeastern University Athletics continues conference play and home action this week with a full slate across the hardwood, track, and the mat, highlighted by a midweek basketball doubleheader, Senior Night on the mat, and a pair of home contests to close the weekend.
Wednesday, January 14 – Basketball Doubleheader vs. Warner
The week opens inside The Furnace with a conference basketball doubleheader against Warner on Wednesday, January 14.
- Women's Basketball tips off the evening at 5:30 p.m., looking to protect home court and continue building momentum in league play.
- Men's Basketball follows at 7:30 p.m., as the Fire and Royals meet under the lights in Lakeland.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and stay late for a full night of Sun Conference action.
Thursday, January 15 – Track & Field Travels to Gainesville
Both Men's and Women's Track & Field head north on Thursday for the Jimmy Carnes Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
The all-day meet provides another key opportunity for the Fire to post strong marks as the indoor season continues, with athletes competing across sprints, distance, jumps, and throws.
Friday, January 16 – Wrestling Senior Night at The Fire Pit
SEU Wrestling returns home on Friday, January 16, hosting Brewton-Parker College at 7 p.m. inside The Fire Pit for Senior Night.
The evening will recognize the Fire's senior student-athletes for their contributions to the program, followed by the dual as Southeastern competes in front of the home crowd one final time during the regular season.
Saturday, January 17 – Men's Basketball vs. Florida College
The week wraps up back at The Furnace on Saturday, January 17, as Men's Basketball hosts Florida College at 2 p.m.
The afternoon matchup marks the Fire's second home game of the week and another important contest as Southeastern continues to defend its home floor.
