Noah Murray-Hawkins has been named the Sun Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, earning the honor after a standout performance against a nationally ranked opponent.
Murray-Hawkins was tasked with handling the attack of No. 22 Georgia Gwinnett College and proved more than equal to the challenge. He registered three saves and kept the Grizzlies off the board in a hard-fought 0-0 draw.
This marks the first Sun Conference Player of the Week award of the season for Murray-Hawkins.
The Fire return to action on Wednesday, September 17, at 7 p.m., hosting Saint Leo University at the SEU Soccer Field.
