The Southeastern University athletic programs continue their fall seasons with another full slate of action, featuring home contests on the court and the pitch along with several teams traveling across the region for key competitions.
Women's Golf Competes at the Seahawk Shootout
The week begins with the Fire women's golf team heading to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for the Seahawk Shootout, hosted at the prestigious PGA National Resort & Spa. Competition gets underway on Monday and Tuesday at 8 a.m. as SEU tests itself against a challenging early-season field on one of the top courses in the state.
Volleyball Hosts Florida College
SEU volleyball returns to The Furnace on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. for a Sun Conference clash with Florida College. The Fire look to build on their strong start to league play and will count on a lively home crowd to give them the edge.
Men's Soccer Set for Midweek Home Match
On Wednesday night, the Fire men's soccer team welcomes Saint Leo University to the SEU Soccer Field for a 7 p.m. kickoff. This non-conference showdown offers SEU an opportunity to test itself against an NCAA Division II opponent under the lights at home.
Busy Saturday Across Multiple Sports
The weekend brings one of the most diverse slates of the fall semester, with four different programs in action.
- Bass Fishing travels to Paris, Tennessee, to compete in the ACA Big Bass Bash on Kentucky Lake, one of the premier fisheries in the country.
- Women's Soccer kicks off the day on the road at Ave Maria University, with an 11 a.m. match.
- Football hits the road for a 1 p.m. kickoff against Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, as the Fire take on the Eagles in non-conference play.
- Women's Volleyball closes out the week with a tough Sun Conference test at Keiser University in West Palm Beach, beginning at 2 p.m.
