A busy week lies ahead for SEU Athletics, as multiple teams return to Lakeland for key Sun Conference matchups and tournament action.
Wednesday, October 8 – Women's Soccer at #11 SCAD-Savannah
The Fire women's soccer team heads north to Savannah to face nationally-ranked SCAD-Savannah in a pivotal Sun Conference showdown. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. as SEU looks to build momentum heading into the weekend slate.
Thursday, October 9 – Men's Soccer vs. SCAD-Savannah
The SEU men's soccer squad will welcome SCAD-Savannah to the SEU Soccer Field for a 7 p.m. kickoff under the lights. Southeastern looks to defend its home pitch and climb the Sun Conference standings with the support of Fire Nation.
Friday, October 10 – SEU Invitational Begins
The Beerman Family Tennis Complex will serve as the home for the SEU Invitational, as both the Fire men's and women's tennis teams open their fall event schedule. Play begins Friday morning and continues through the weekend, showcasing several top programs from around the region.
Also on Friday, SEU Volleyball travels to Miami Gardens to take on Florida Memorial University at 2 p.m., opening the second half of Sun Conference play as the Fire look to keep climbing the league leaderboard.
Saturday, October 11 – Full Slate Across Multiple Sports
Saturday features one of the busiest days of the fall for SEU Athletics.
- Cross Country opens the day early at the Sand Shark Invitational hosted by USC Beaufort in Bluffton, South Carolina. The men's 8K race begins at 8 a.m., followed by the women's 6K at 9 a.m.
- Back in Lakeland, Women's Soccer hosts Webber International at 11 a.m. at the SEU Soccer Field, followed by Men's Soccer traveling to Babson Park for a 3 p.m. rematch with the Warriors.
- The SEU Invitational in tennis continues all day at the Beerman Family Tennis Complex.
- The day concludes at Victory Field, where Fire Football returns home for a 4 p.m. kickoff against Thomas University. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and pack the stands for another exciting Saturday of Fire Football.
