JUPITER, Fla. -- The SEU Men's Golf team put together three steady rounds to earn a fourth-place finish at the Jupiter Collegiate Invitational, hosted at Jonathan's Landing Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida. The Fire carded rounds of 285, 284, and 284 on the par-70 layout for a total of 853 (+13), finishing behind No. 1 Keiser (-15), Webber International (-5), and Palm Beach State (+2).
Marley Read led Southeastern with a sixth-place finish at even par (70-71-69—210). Read produced 11 birdies for the week and ranked T-10 in par-5 scoring (4.56, –4) and T-13 in par-3 scoring (3.27, +4), showing all-around consistency.
Scott Starbuck tied for 10th (72-71-69—212, +2), highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 13th in the final round. Starbuck finished T-3 in par-3 scoring (3.13, +2) and added seven birdies, averaging 5.11 (+1) on par 5s.
Zach Shaw tied for 17th (71-73-72—216, +6) and was one of the event's top scorers on long holes, ranking T-4 in par-5 scoring (4.44, –5) and tying for fourth-most birdies (13).
Spencer McCranie finished 22nd (72-72-74—218, +8), joining Shaw among the T-4 par-5 leaders (4.44, –5) and recording 10 birdies.
Adam Crawley placed 27th (73-70-76—219, +9) with 13 birdies, tied for fourth-most overall, while averaging 4.89 (–1) on par 5s.
As a team, Southeastern ranked second in total birdies (54)—trailing only Keiser's 59—and stood out as one of just two programs to record three consecutive sub-285 rounds, showcasing consistency and scoring depth across the lineup.
Keiser's Iver Sokhan-Sanj captured individual medalist honors at 200 (–10), leading wire-to-wire in a talented field.
The Fire close out their fall slate at The Sun Nancy Nichols Invitational (Match Play), set for October 27–28 at Sun 'n Lake Golf Club in Sebring, Florida.
