MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- In a well-fought battle by the Fire, the Southeastern University men's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie against the No. 6 ranked St. Thomas University Bobcats to move to 4-2-3 on the season.

After a quiet first half that saw just nine shots between the two teams, the Bobcats got on the board in the 53
rd minute with a Mark Oghogho chip-in off a deflected shot.

Down to their final five minutes,
Edoardo Venutolo tied the contest with a chip-shot over the head of the Bobcat keeper to aid the Fire in the 1-1 tie and move his season goal total to five.

Carlos Curado allowed just one goal and recorded five saves through the 90 minutes to keep his team in the contest.

The Fire will be back in action on Wednesday at home at 7 p.m. against the No.16 ranked Florida National University.
