LAKELAND, Fla.- Moving to 6-2-3 on the season and 1-0-1 in the Sun Conference, the Southeastern University men's soccer team shutout the SCAD-Savannah Bees with a 2-0 victory.

The Fire earned their first corner kick of the night in the 14th minute and would turn it into the first goal of the night when Lucas Nishioka curved the corner kick into the top corner for an unassisted goal.

The lone goal would hold for the Fire until Edoardo Venutolo took a cross from Chis Escalante in the 78th minute and put it past a diving Bee keeper for the insurance goal.

The defense held the Bees to just four shots on the night while the Fire got off 11 shots, seven on goal.

Warner University will be the next competition for the Fire as they travel to the SEU Soccer Complex on Monday for a 5 p.m. contest.
