LAKELAND, Fla- The Southeastern University men's soccer team dropped their last match of the regular season tonight as they fell by a score of 2-1 to the Night Hawks of Thomas University to end the regular season with a 9-4-4 record (3-3-2 TSC).

The Fire defense held off the Night Hawks for a majority of the first half but TU would record the first goal of the match in the 43
rd minute off of a corner kick to go into the half with a 1-0 lead.

Not long after the continuation of play in the second half, the Night Hawks extended their lead to two when a Night Hawk player managed a long run up field and finished a shot past the Fire keeper into the bottom left in the 52
nd minute.

Momentum would be given to the Fire late in the match when
Uziel Hernandez netted his second goal of the season in the 86
th minute. The Fire threatened overtime in the final minutes but were unable to get the equalizer falling by a score of 2-1.

The Fire now look to the postseason as they face off against SCAD on Saturday at home at 8 p.m. in the Sun Conference Tournament Quarterfinal.
