The Fire celebrated Labor Day with a shutout victory over the Missouri Baptist Spartans, beating them 3-0. This brings the Fire to a record of 4-1

    Southeastern was the dominant offensive team throughout both halves of play, outshooting the Spartans 22 to 3. Senior forward Bruno Henrique scored in the 23rd minute, assisted by Jonathan Jimenez, putting the ball past the keeper into the bottom right corner of the goal.
    Ben-Avir Espinal scored six minutes later, at 29:08. This time, Henrique assisted, along with Julian Hall, allowing Espinal to cut through two defenders and put it past the keeper.
    Craig Barker scored the third goal for the Fire, which was a penalty kick in the second half, at 61:22.

    The Fire defense was able to breath easily during the match, spurred on by the tenacity of the Fire offense.

   This marks the Fire's second straight victory at home.
