SEU Lands 11 All-Conference Honorees

Five First Team selections highlight a dominant season for a Fire squad

LAKELAND, Fla. -- SEU Football placed 11 student-athletes on the 2025 Sun Conference Football All-Conference Teams, highlighted by five First Team selections. This marks the ninth time in program history the Fire have earned five or more First Team honorees, and the ninth time with double-digit overall selections.

Southeastern now has 14 players in program history who have been named First Team All-Conference multiple times, and 30 players all-time who have earned multiple All-Conference awards.

FIRST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE

OL – Kody Chisholm (First Team in 2024)

A two-time First Team selection and cornerstone of SEU's offensive front, Chisholm helps guide a Fire offense averaging 193.6 rushing yards per game and more than 376 yards of total offense. His consistency and technique continue to set the tone for SEU's efficiency and physicality up front.

DL – Thomas Ibrahim (First Team in 2024)

Ibrahim is putting together one of the most dominant defensive seasons in program and Sun Conference history, entering the postseason with 20.5 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, and 58 total tackles. He leads the league by 7.5 TFLs and 4 sacks over every other defender and ranks second in the entire NAIA in both categories. Even as offenses regularly shift protections and scheme away from him, he continues to take over games and anchor a Fire defense that leads the conference in both points and yards allowed.

DL – Chris Sharpe

Sharpe continues to emerge as a high-impact defensive lineman, totaling 6.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 33 tackles to this point in the season. His pressure production and motor contribute to SEU's conference-leading defensive numbers.

LB – Brady Nowlan (First Team in 2024)

Nowlan again serves as one of the Fire's defensive anchors, leading SEU with 64 total tackles while adding 6.5 TFLs, 3.0 sacks, three pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. His leadership, range, and physical presence remain essential to the Fire's defensive identity.

DB – Jamil Jones (Second Team in 2024)

Jones earns First Team honors after producing three interceptions, 173 punt return yards, and 25 tackles so far. His coverage instincts and ability to flip field position continue to make him one of SEU's most versatile contributors.

SECOND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE

RB – Curtis Kimmons

Kimmons leads the team with 742 rushing yards, averages 5.5 yards per carry, and has scored 14 rushing touchdowns, continuing to serve as SEU's primary finisher on the ground. His consistency and explosiveness help power one of the top rushing attacks in the league.

OL – Dendric Reynolds

Reynolds remains a steady force in the trenches, contributing to SEU's top-15 national rushing attack and strong red-zone efficiency. His reliability has been vital to the Fire's balanced offensive success.

DL – Carlos Gerardino (Second Team in 2024)

Gerardino earns his second straight Second Team honor with 6.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, and 35 total tackles. His interior presence helps SEU hold opponents to just 89.1 rushing yards per game, among the best marks in the NAIA.

DB – Ian Jolly

Jolly continues to showcase versatility and range, posting 27 tackles, eight pass breakups, and a 43-yard interception return. His consistency in coverage strengthens SEU's secondary.

DB – Michyl Shaw

Shaw provides physical, dependable play on the back end with 50 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, two pass breakups, and a fumble recovery. His reliability in space contributes to SEU's elite defensive metrics.

K – Joel McGrath

McGrath provides stability across all three kicking disciplines, converting 11 field goals (long of 46), going 34-for-38 on PATs, and averaging 38.7 yards per punt with 15 balls pinned inside the 20. His 22 touchbacks on kickoffs add another layer of field-position value.

Southeastern continues its season with several players positioned among the national and conference leaders. The Fire's All-Conference honorees play a crucial role in SEU maintaining one of the NAIA's most complete defensive units while producing standout performers across offense, defense, and special teams.
