2003 The first game played in the Sportsplex took place on January 9, 2003, when the Southeastern women's basketball team matched up against Valley Forge Christian College. The Lady Crusaders defeated VFCC, 52–29, in the annual Assemblies of God Basketball Tournament.
2003 Southeastern men's basketball also opened its new home against Valley Forge Christian and earned an 87–80 victory later that evening.
September 9, 2003 The women's volleyball team played its first match in the Sportsplex, falling to Florida College in straight sets.
2004–2006 The Sportsplex hosted the NCCAA II Women's Basketball National Tournament for three consecutive years.
NCCAA D-II Era During Southeastern's tenure in the NCCAA D-II South Region, the three programs combined for a 118–18 South Region record at the Sportsplex. The men's basketball team compiled a 64–3 home record against region opponents and won its first 26 region games in the facility.
2010 The facility welcomed The Sun Conference Mid-Season Volleyball Tournament.
2013–14 During the Fab Four season, the Fire men's basketball team compiled an impressive 15–1 record at home.
2015–16 The Fire women's basketball team used a 13–1 record at The Furnace to help claim The Sun Conference regular-season championship.
